1. Surface Preparation
   To apply paint on roofs, floors, foundations, or walls, surface preparation is quite vital. If the surface is not prepared adequately, the adhesion of the paint will not be enough and the attempt will fail. However, if you prepare the surface before applying the paint, you can achieve a better result. Typically surface preparation steps are as follows;

Remove the old paint and loose particles
Organic growth if the surface has any should be treated and removed
Repair the surface if it has any defects like cracks
Make sure the surface is clean and dry

2. Priming the Surface
   Certain surfaces require a primer application before painting. For example, a primer should be applied to consolidate friable surfaces and to seal porous surfaces, if corrosion is present on steel surfaces.
3. Application
   Evenly apply the paint with a brush, spray, or roller. The thickness of the paint may depend on the paint, coating, and waterproofing membrane. Quick note: if the temperature is low or the chance of rain is high, most products cannot be applied. The surface needs to be dry for the application.
4. Safety
